How the scorecard is calculated

Techmint · week to date
How every number on the scorecard is calculated. Targets come straight from the goal workbook; the formulas match the engine exactly.
Workload EfficiencyLE
How fast value is produced per paid hour.
Σ workload points of unique devices reaching Ready-To-List for the first time this period ÷ (paid operational hours × 60). Each device counts once, ever. Shown as a %.
target: floor 60.0% → goal 80.0%
source: Repair/QA workload points (locked at the Sep-11 calibration) + time-clock hours.
First Pass QualityFPQ
Share of finished devices with no quality fault.
Devices reaching Ready-To-List with zero FPQ-counting faults ÷ all devices reaching Ready-To-List. Counts fault ROWS (not points); only fault types flagged in the config count (DFQ at launch).
target: floor 90.0% → goal 95.0%
source: techminttool fault system (At-Fault Types + Fault Results).
Aged BacklogDR25
Whether devices clear before they age out.
Of devices whose age crossed the cohort age this period, the share already at a final disposition (listed/sold, vendor return, auction, approved salvage). Inflow-immune.
target: floor 75.0% → goal 90.0%
source: techminttool receipt clock (asset-number creation) + disposition status.
Cash Priority ScoreCP
Same as Aged Backlog, but weighted by dollars.
The same aging cohort weighted by each device's cash points (expected Amazon sale $ for its model/spec/grade) instead of a plain unit count — so clearing high-value devices counts more.
target: floor 80.0% → goal 92.0%
source: Cash points (locked at the Sep-11 calibration) + disposition status.
On-time shippingOTS
Shipping on time.
Orders with a carrier acceptance scan within the channel's SLA ÷ orders due to ship in the period. Business-day aware.
target: floor 95.0% → goal 98.0%
source: ShipStation order + ship timestamps.
Founder escalationsESC
Founder having to step in.
Average number of Escalations logged per week (reserved domains excluded).
target: floor 4.0/wk → goal 2.0/wk
source: Escalations Microsoft List.
Functional repair rateRPR
Repairs that actually made the device work.
Functional repairs ÷ every repair logged in the Repair Tracker for the period. A device not yet functional counts against the rate; nothing is quietly skipped.
target: floor 80.0% → goal 90.0%
source: Repair Tracker workbook (Repair_Tracker tab).
Uplift value / hourUPL
Value added per hour of uplift work.
Σ uplift points (cash points at grade-out − cash points at grade-in, per job) ÷ paid hours worked in the Uplift department.
target: floor $60/hr → goal $100/hr
source: Uplift Tracker (Polish + Refinish Paint) + uplift-dept hours.
Preventable blockersBLK
Preventable work stoppages.
Average preventable blocker events per week (vendor-delay and cash-hold events excluded).
target: floor 5.0/wk → goal 2.0/wk
source: Blocker Events Microsoft List (Shane classifies preventable).
Marketplace qualityMKT
Marketplace account health.
Sales-weighted status score across channels (Amazon always; other channels at ≥5% of sales). Green=1, Yellow=0.5, Red=0, divided by included share. Any included Red fails the quarter's gate.
target: floor 75.0% → goal 90.0%
source: Amazon SP-API + eBay analytics (other channels entered manually).
Vendor return SLAVSLA
Vendor returns and auctions done on deadline.
Eligible vendor-return and auction devices completed within their deadline ÷ all that were due. Deadlines come from the vendor-policy table.
target: floor 85.0% → goal 95.0%
source: techminttool disposition dates + vendor-policy windows.
Scoring
Each metric scores 0–1 by how far it sits between its floor (0) and goal (1). Any team metric below its floor caps the Team Operating Score at 50%. A manager's score is the weighted average of their metrics; payout = pool × split × multiplier, and the multiplier is zero unless the score clears the threshold and every gate (profit, cash, no marketplace red) passes.
